This year saw the formation of MAI-Africa, a Trustees group launched after the second of two LittWorld conferences in Africa. Wambura Kimunyu, chair of the Trustees, said, “It’s been our prayer and vision to establish MAI-Africa: a pan-African group of men and women whose heart would beat alongside MAI, and who would hold the vision and work of MAI in trust on behalf of the continent.
“Now God has answered that prayer and we find ourselves the beginning of the journey toward the fulfillment of that vision. Today we are taking the first step in what we believe will be a great adventure with God. And we covet your prayers and support.
“I feel privileged to be part of something that seeks to multiply to the nth degree the stories that are told at the African-Christian intersection."
