Inside MAI Blog: Thoughts on global publishing
That time of year
Remember the Old Testament reference, “In the spring…when kings go off to war”? A take-off on the text to describe MAI might read, “In the fall…when MAI goes off to conduct training.”
It seems like the fall is always our most intense time of training ministry (OK, spring, if you live in the Southern Hemisphere). This year is no different. Coming up in the next few months, we have three major regional trainings in challenging areas of the world:
--September 19-25 in Brazzaville, Congo. Training for 60 French-language Christian publishers and writers in West/Central Africa.
--November 7-11 in Hong Kong, China. Training for 60 Christian publishing staff from across Asia.
--November 29-December 3 in Beirut, Lebanon. Christian author training for up to 30 writers from around the Middle East.
Right now we’re immersed in final preparations for each of these key programs. Please pray with us for wisdom, and that God will use these trainings to advance His Kingdom in French-speaking Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
I hope you’ll visit the MAI website often, so you can get the latest news and prayer updates for all of our training programs worldwide.
